În cadrul celei de-a opta ediție a Conferinței Internaționale „Knowledge Economy – Challenges of the 21st Century”, cu tema „Europe in pandemic times: facts, challenges and responses.”, organizată de Universitatea „Constantin Brâncoveanu" Piteşti, Camelia Hristian, şef Serviciul Relaţii Publice (Muzeul Brăilei „Carol I”), masterand (anul II) în cadrul programului de studiu „Managementul serviciilor publice" a prezentat comunicarea „Muzeele şi criza Covid-19". 

Abstract: „Cultural and creative sectors are among the most affected by the COVID-19 crisis and this is a very sensitive subject for me, a Museum professional (PR specialist). The topics of this paper are: The impact of the COVID-19 crisis on the Museums; Keeping collections, the visitors and the employees safe and healthy during the pandemic period; Digital communication and creative solutions for promoting the cultural heritage and the museum activities, for creating digital content to reach, to keep in touch with different target audiences and to support the community resilience; Museum education for children and adults during the COVID-19 crisis; Motivate the Museum professionals to embrace training, knowledge sharing and collaboration with colleagues from all over the world who are facing similar challenges; SWOT Analysis of the organization for discover new strengths and new skills in the Museum and among the staff; Focusing on the future of the Museum and the post-COVID period (economic crisis, income losses, changed visitor behavior, uncertain changes) − Management possible scenarios for the survival and a sustainable future of the Museum; Brainstorming with the professionals and the representatives of the artists, collectors, schools and community for the best solutions to continue the relationships after COVID-19. " 

La conferinţă s-au înscris peste 160 de autori cu 115 teme de cercetare, autori ce reprezină peste 25 de universități si Institute de Cercetare ale Academiei Romane. Totodată interesul stârnit, a facut posibilă înscrierea unor cercetători din Polonia, Ucraina, R. Moldova, Turcia, Albania, Canada.
